1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar, minus 2 Tablespoons
1 t Garam Masala Blend
2 t Rose Water
2 cups all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Cream butter and sugar until pale and doubled in volume. Add rose water and garam masala. Add salt. Slowly stir in flour and until well blended.
Pat into 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake for 30 – 40 minutes until golden brown on edges. Pierce with fork immediately when removing from oven. Cut into bars. Let cool.
